'Daily Deviations' and my hope to be on there

Everyday I sign in to check messages and admire peoples work on Deviant Art, and I am always mesmorised by the 'Daily Deviation' section across the bottom of the homepage. I have always wondered, however, how to get work in this section.

I have noticed the pieces are always 'suggested' by somebody. Since I can't see anything that allows me to suggest pieces for nominating, I will now send out a plea to you wonderful people ... almost like my own petition:

I would love to have my piece 'Spitfire Over London' on show to everyone within this community via the 'Daily Deviation' system. I am really proud of it and I think it's a shame that so little people are seeing it. Can anybody help me get this drawing of mine out there to the masses?

Hello everyone, and thank you for visiting my little area of the vast world of Deviant Art.

As I type this I am currently coming to the end of studying my A-Levels, and most of the work you will see here has been for my A-Level Art course. I am 18 years old, living in the county of Lincolnshire, England.

I have become infamous to people who know me for my drawings, and I want to share what I can do with as many people as I can. There is also a hint of photography work alongside these drawings which captures some special moments that I come across in my life.

I have always believed that the best art is the art that looks real. I don't understand how a black dot on a piece of paper, for example, can be called 'art'. I believe anyone who can draw something that looks like it's a photo is a true artist, and this is what I always aim to do when I draw.

When I am not studying or drawing, I am a DJ. When I finish my A-Levels I will be studying a course at University which covers Audio Production and Radio Broacasting. You can follow my progress with this over at Myspace (www.myspace.com/simonross46).
